Jupiter Skinless Boneless Sardines in Organic Olive Oil, Lucas Spiced Tuna Pate, Antarctic Krill Meat in Water

For us, warm weather means a bountiful urban garden bed, weeding (like, a lot of weeding), blooming flowers, meals outdoors, long walks with our dog, beach days, and seafood in all its forms. We are certainly grateful for summer, and YOU, our fellow seafood lovers! We hope you get to spend some time in the sun and enjoy these tins, condiments, and recipes.


Jupiter Skinless Boneless Sardines in Organic Olive Oil 

Use this superb tin to create a Sardine and Roasted Tomato appetizer. Place about six cherry tomatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle them with olive oil (feel free to use the organic olive oil from the tin), salt, and pepper. Let the tomatoes roast in the preheated oven at 400°F for approximately 15-20 minutes until they become soft and slightly caramelized. While the tomatoes are roasting, take a slice of bread and top it with a sardine. Once the tomatoes are ready, carefully place them on top of the sardine. Skewer the sardine and tomato stack with a toothpick, sprinkle freshly chopped chives over the appetizer for an added burst of color and flavor. 

Lucas Spiced Tuna Pate 

We love to experiment with the salty umami flavor of tinned fish and hope you do too. This spiced tuna pate is flavorful on its own but combining spreading it on a cracker with relish proved to be an unexpected and delicious flavor that’s sweet, salty, and sour. 

Antarctic Krill Meat in Water 

Krill are small, shrimp-like crustaceans that are found in oceans around the world. They are a vital part of the marine food chain, serving as a primary food source for various marine animals, including whales, seals, penguins, and fish. Krill feed on microscopic algae and plankton and are known for their high nutritional value. They are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, proteins, and antioxidants. This specific brand is wild-caught by a Ukrainian vessel and contains only Krill, water, and salt. Indulge in a simple and delicious krill-based “Lobster Roll.” Combine well-drained krill meat with mayo, a dash of lemon juice, and finely chopped celery. Season with the included Mrs. Dash seasoning to taste. Toast rolls with butter, then spoon the krill mixture onto them. Enjoy the delightful combination of flavors in every bite.
